Culo.

That’s quite the title for a new coffee table book about, well...butts that Interscope-Geffen-A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine and photographer Raphael Mazzucco have dreamt up and brought to reality.

Yes! At long last! A book that’s all the female bottom area.

Look for Culo on Nov. 22, folks.

What Pottermore Is

The mystery has been solved by the magic of patience.

J.K. Rowling announced this morning that the launched-last-week Pottermore Web site will serve as an e-bookstore for her seven Harry Potter books beginning in October.

Yes, after years of holding out, Rowling is letting the Wizard go digital, y’all.

The tomes will be available as audiobooks and e-books in multiple languages through the interactive site, which also will feature 18,000 words of new Potter material.

Pottermore will combine elements of computer games, social networking, and, of course, an online store. It goes live on July 31. So get...register so you can be part of the e-magic!

Up-and-coming Author

Chris Colfer is diversifying some more.

The Golden Globe-winning Glee MVP is looking to add to his growing résumé – he’s already working on his big-screen debut in a movie of his own writing – and will pen two books for Little, Brown Books for Young Readers.

Colfer’s first tome, The Land of Stories, is set to hit shelves next summer. It will be an adventure novel that draws elements from classic fairy tales. A second book will arrive in stores later in the year.

The actor sure has been flexing his writing muscle. He recently oversaw the scripts for a Disney Channel pilot as well. So good for him for not resting on his laurels, huh.

Lauren Graham has written a book.

The Parenthood star has had her debut novel, the semi-autobiographical You’ll Never Make It, picked up by Random House.

The story of a struggling actress in New York City in the mid-1990s should hit shelves...soon.

She better come to Miami to promote the book. After all, she kinda owes me a meet for not being there when I went to see her in Guys and Dolls.

Running Wild and Looking Pretty...Then

You haven’t read the last of young Carrie Bradshaw.

Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell has penned a follow-up to her successful Carrie Diaries, the young-adult title that explored our favorite fashionista’s earlier years.

Summer and the City is set to be released on April 26 and will follow Carrie as she spends her first summer in Manhattan and tell the story of how she met Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda.

Bushnell, who has called the experience of writing these young-adult tomes “exciting and rewarding,” is planning on writing at least two more entries for the Bradshaw cannon.
