Hola bonita! :P
I am so glad you all liked my last 'Wonderful Autumn' makeup tutorial! I am so glad for and really appreciate all the wonderful feedback! I must say, I really love the BBS audience and commenters! You guys are REAL and NICE people!
Today I want to talk about one of my many icons!
Marie Antoinette
She was the woman to start what we all came to love and know! FASHION! She was the woman to add all the bells and wissels, the gaga hair pieces and the ultimate STYLE!

Only downfall with these head pieces is that they had them on for weeks at a time and got mold infections in their hair as they didn't wash. And sometimes even rats! And, they couldn't sleep lying!
My conclusion is that it looks incredible but is VERY unpractical.
But I digress!
I would like to tell you about her execution.
-
She was accused of: ''Orchestrating orgies in Versailles, sending millions of livres of treasury money to Austria, plotting to kill the Duke of Orléans, incest with her son, declaring her son to be the new king of France and orchestrating the massacre of the Swiss Guards in 1792.'' + More. ''(most, if not all, of the accusations were untrue and probably lifted from rumours begun by libelles)''
I found this very interesting to read as it is a quote from Marie herself at the end:
''The most infamous charge was that she sexually abused her son. This was according to Louis Charles, who, through his coaching by Hébert and his guardian, accused his mother. After being reminded that she had not answered the charge of incest, Marie Antoinette protested emotionally to the accusation, and the women present in the courtroom – the market women who had stormed the palace for her entrails in 1789 – ironically began to support her. She had been composed throughout the trial until this accusation was made, to which she finally answered, "If I have not replied it is because Nature itself refuses to respond to such a charge laid against a mother."''
-
''she was declared guilty of treason in the early morning of 16 October, after two days of proceedings.''
And this is why Marie Antoinette was killed.
And let me add in, I am glad the system has changed.
If you like, you can go to my suite and look at my little tribute to her!
PS: I am not mocking her death/life with my tribute, I am honoring her, in my own way! I find it symbolic and beautiful.
Next time you might see an 'Au Natural' makeup tutorial in Marie Antoinette's honor!
Much Love from me and I hope I didn't bore you to death! Haha. (No pun intended)
