Any time director David Cronenberg joins forces with Viggo Mortensen joins forces on screen, magic happens.

The pair worked together on A History of Violence and Eastern Promises, and now they have reunited for A Dangerous Method, which casts the Oscar-nominated actor as Sigmund Freud opposite Michael Fassbender’s Carl Jung.

The film explores their friendship and eventual falling-out over the affair Jung carried on with a young Russian patient played by Keira Knightley.
