A Black Day In Norwegian History

 

(My outfit for the day, in tribute to all the wonderful lives who were taken yesterday. (Note the Norwegian flag in my hand))

Yesterday, the 22nd of July will forever remain a horrible and dark date in the Norwegian calendar and history.

Yesterday evening a young man named Anders Behring Breivik (32) decided to bomb a part of Oslo City. He killed 7 people and hurt 2 people. That was only in that attack.

Later that evening he went to an island called 'Utøya' (Loosely translated 'The Out Island') where many many teenagers where camping. He was dressed as a police man to lure the teenagers to him, telling them they were 'safe' with him. Then he pulled a gun and shot 84 of the teenagers and some adults. Yes, you read right, EIGHTY FOUR! There were SO much drama! People began swimming away in their underwear, being saved by boats, hiding everywhere! All in all he killed 91 people yesterday evening. 

This is very unusual for Norway. This is the worst thing to happen to Norway sine world war 2! That is quite a few years ago. Some are afraid that this is only the beginning of something far more worse as there are rumors of more men involved!

Did you know that the longest you can stay in prison in Norway is 21 years? That really disgusts me. This sad excuse for a human being will be able to walk the streets in 21 years.

I am alright, I live over 7 hours away from Oslo, thank god!

And I fortunately do not know anyone in or from Oslo so that really spared me a lot of heartache!

Now it is confirmed that they have found another body! That makes 92 lives on his conscience, not that I think he has one.
